From the supplier: The polyurethane industry has developed a process to reduce the density of polyurethane materials used for automotive fascias. Hollow glass microspheres with great compressive strength are incorporated into the polyurethane. The density was reduced about 10% by the replacement of polyurethane with hollow glass, but some blister and porosity defects were reported.
